I am an Illustrator / Graphic Designer studying towards a MA in Design & Digital Media at Coventry University. This blog is entitled Visual Kyandi (Candy) because that is how I would describe my work, it’s primarily eye candy influenced by the visual world of Design and Illustration and Japanese Aesthetics.

It’s a beautiful drawing you made of Shakira. I’m a big fan of her, and I would love to have that one in a high resolution (most posters of her are very standard and unoriginal), so I could make a print of it for my room. Would that be possible?

Very nice work indeed Abigail with a strong erotic quality in some.
I hope you dont mind that I have copied your Rapunzel illustration to a friend in an e mail entitled “Blame It On Rapunzel”.
My daughter had a first in art and you are very talented also. I particularly liked your latest pencil drawing and your range is impressive.
If I could just offer one well meaning critique, your contrast between traditional illustrative techniques in the style of Rackham, etc and the modern images you have used is just a llittle too stark and jars somewhat. I know the effect you are trying to achieve but maybe slightly softer modern images would blend in better.
That’s just a subjective opinion of course. Generally your work is hugely impressive and you should waltz through your Masters with no problem at all.
Genuine visual eye candy. Lovely stuff.
